On Tuesday, the Upton Town Library hosted a special drop-in craft day, giving children of all ages the opportunity to stop in and make a Space Buddy to share in their Starship Adventures this summer. Local artist & illustrator Lauren Scheuer, who designed our Space Buddy, dropped by to join the fun, and posed for this picture with our staff. Our newest circulation clerk, Eileen Rakitin, made T-shirts for all staff members, using Lauren's design!Below is a photo submitted via email from one of our young patrons who had a dentist appt after her library visit ... so here's yet another Martian getting a dental check-up while visiting Earth this summer!
